True Country Music
Aaron Watson brings a breath of fresh air to the posh pop country scene that plagues the radio and industry today. AW, despite his more recent mainstream success, has remained true to his faith and his roots. This guy is such a class act and really represents how great Texas country music is. He has truly put the cowboy back in country. Backed by upper echelon musicians, this concert is a pleaser for all crowds. If you're gonna play in Texas, you gotta have a fiddle in the band, and what a fiddle player AW has. Damien Green is a prodigy. There's no other way to describe his level of talent. If you're a real country music fan and like to honky tonk I'd recommend attending an AW show. He only comes to the Indy area once or so a year so make sure you keep an eye out on his tour schedule.
Great show but late start
Event info showed show at 8:00. Ticket should have said doors at 8:00, opening act at 9:00 and Aaron Watson at 10:15. I had to be out by 11:00 so thought I would see whole show but instead probably only saw the first 1/3. People next to me had to leave before he even came on stage as they had a babysitter that was expecting them home at 10:30. In the future Ticketmaster should show what time doors open and mention that there is an opening act so that people can plan accordingly. Aaron was great and what I saw of the show was just as I expected. Just wish I could have seen more.
